“In September 2014, I came to Lagos for the burial ceremony of my father in-law. By the time I came back to my base in United Kingdom, I was urinating a lot – sometimes every hour. I then went for a test and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. In November, my HbA1c reading was 9.4% and was prescribed some tablets.
